Dr. Thomas M. Wilcko, DDS, is a distinguished periodontist with over 25 years of experience.

A graduate of Allegheny College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Dr. Wilcko continued his academic journey at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. His exceptional academic achievements led to his induction into the esteemed national scholastic honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, recognizing his commitment to excellence in dentistry.

Further enhancing his expertise, Dr. Wilcko completed an intensive certificate program in periodontics at Harvard University School of Dental Medicine. 

Dr. Wilcko is renowned for his pioneering work in periodontics, notably as the creator of the groundbreaking Periodontally Accelerated Osteogenic Orthodontics technique (PAOO). This innovative approach revolutionized orthodontic treatment by combining periodontal and orthodontic principles to accelerate tooth movement and enhance treatment outcomes.
